What is Sheet Extrusion?
- Sheet Extrusion is a technique for making flat plastics sheets from a variety of resins
- Molten resin is continuously extruded in a flat form through a die, then nipped by polishing rolls for cooling and shaping to form a flat sheet
- The flat sheet is pulled by a haul-off system and is wound up to for a sheet roll
